Old Church Museum is on the Washington Guided Tours

The "Cane Brake", an authentic pre-1790 log house was our former Visitors Center, which has now been 
relocated in Paxton House more in the center of the village.  It is open Mid April , through 
Frontier Christmas.   Guided tours available Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Sunday 12 noon to 3 p.m.  Guided tours are available during the off-season by appointment.  
Tour guides in period costumes lead you through this early Kentucky village along flagstone sidewalks 
graced by authentic frontier log cabins and early 19th century homes.

The Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Log Cabin Learning Tour - Washington's Log Cabin Learning program has been selected for a STATE
                                             award in the education category by the Kentucky Historical Society and 
                                             The Historical Confederation of Kentucky.  This program for students was 
                                             begun in 1990 and continues to grow each year.

Walking Tours From Washington 1700s Log Visitor's Center  
These may be scheduled by calling 1700s Log Visitor's Center 606-759-7411.  Operating Hours 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday through Saturday. 12 noon to 4:30 Sunday.  Mid April  - through Frontier Christmas.  If time doesn't permit a tour 
or you prefer to browse on your own, ask for brochures at the Log Visitors Center.  Many of the shops will have these 
if the Visitors Center is closed.

Covered Bridge Tour

Tour includes stop at Goddard Bridge, Ringo Mills, and Grange City Covered Bridges in Fleming County.  
Proceed to Blue Licks for visit and lunch.  Come into Olde Washington for one (1) hour shopping trip.
$55 Step On Guide Fee  - 4 hours  (Charter Buses, church groups and senior groups book this tour through the 
Washington Visitor's Center or Maysville Tourism Office.)

Bus Tours (Independent)
May have their own Step On Guide.  When requesting a guide for the tour of Old Washington, the guide on duty at
the Washington 1700s Log Visitor's Center will conduct tour if available.  This is usually a driving tour and takes approximately 1/2 hour.  Check for price.

Guests can select attractions they wish to visit with the Washington Visitor's Center (606)-759-7411. 
These can be selected with the Washington Tour Guide.
Admission is $2.00 to each of the following 4 museums:
Paxton Inn, Albert Sidney Johnston, Mefford's Fort and Simon Kenton Shrine.
Admission is $3.00 to the Harriet Beecher Stowe Museum

St. Patrick Cemetery at end of Old Main Street in Washington - Rosemary Clooney's gravesite.
Washington Cemetery on US 68 just across the road where one sees the Log Baptist Church along the highway.
